All monthly
meetings of the Southwestern Indiana PC Users Group are open to
the public free of charge. Meetings are generally held on the
third Sunday of the month, except during July and August,
in Browning Meeting Room B in the Evansville
Vanderburgh Public Library, corner of Walnut St. and
M.L. King Blvd. in downtown Evansville. There is plenty of free parking available
in the new underground parking garage, with its entrance on Chestnut Street. Our host,
representing EVPL, is Mike Abaray who has been a member of
SWIPCUG for many years.
In addition
to featuring a special program, meetings usually include a
"FOR
THE GOOD OF THE ORDER" session during which members and guests
exchange helpful information based on their recent experiences
or what they have read. This is also a good time to ask for help
with computer problems you have encountered.
Membership
dues are $20 per year per family, or $10 for students, and includes
the monthly bulletin, Cyber Bytes.
Visitors are always
welcome.
